I love romance. I love that I get to take photos of people in love on the most important day in their lives. I love, LOVE. The year 2010 was a great one for weddings – I took photos all over Virginia and then Cozumel, Mexico and finally, Colorado. I am blessed and fortunate to get to do what I love. After spending time with Matt and Cassie during their e-session, I just knew their wedding was going to be awesome. They worked hard on putting the parts together for this day. To celebrate the union of their lives joining forever. And not just for themselves. For their families and friends who proudly witnessed their committment of love. For their future.

Megan and Brian’s wedding was my last in Virginia before moving to Colorado. And what a wonderful day it was! Megan and Brian put so much into every detail of their day that I had to include as many photos of those details as possible. It was just gorgeous! And if you can believe it, Megan and Brian got married on their 8th anniversary! So in love…
They held their wedding at the timeless Jasmine Plantation.

Rebecca and Cris got married on a beautiful, slightly hot, June summer day. It was a beautiful June wedding – gorgeous dress, beautiful bride and the groom who so obviously adores his new wife! I had a great time being there to witness their love and devotion to each other. Isn’t that what a wedding truly is? A coming together of two lives, hearts and souls. You can tell that Rebecca and Cris and their families could not be happier than they were on this day.

When I asked Kurt what it was like to get married a week after he graduated college, he said it was the best week of his life. All day you could see the love Katy and Kurt have for each other. How they make each other smile and laugh. My favorite images are of the ones where they are looking into each other’s eyes and seeing their future together forever. I was truly happy to be there to witness this wonderful wedding. It was the stuff fairy-tales are made of.

Mercy and Brian’s wedding took place the first day of May and you couldn’t have asked for better weather or a more beautiful wedding! It was such a sweet wedding and reflected Mercy and Brian perfectly. I took their engagement photos last fall so now they have photos from both beautiful seasons. I had such a great time taking their photos (as I do all my clients!). I’m the luckiest photographer to have such great people to photograph.
There are always so many great photos that it makes it hard to choose which to post. This wedding was no exception!

I was beyond excited when Julie and Toby announced their engagement and then just about to burst when they decided to have a destination wedding and chose me to accompany them as their photographer! We had such an awesome engagement session, I knew their wedding photos would be fabulous and gorgeous, just like them. Julie had everything planned so well for the wedding taking place in another country. Everything came together beautifully. And I had a wonderful time! Thanks for inviting me to be part of it.
