glory days

As with most high school seniors, these are the glory days of Colin’s life. Young, full of energy and life, he puts his whole heart into whatever he is doing. Lacrosse, football, school…he meets every challenge head on. He even has a full ride to college and he’s just starting his senior year. Wherever he goes in the future, I know Colin will succeed at anything he does.

These may be the glory days, but they are just starting.

to bruce, congratulations

I can’t believe it. Time goes by so fast! When I started dating my husband Jay 8 years ago, his brother Bruce was only in grade school. Now he’s graduating high school. If I didn’t mention it before, Jay is the oldest of 6! We’ve watched Bruce grow and turn into a young man who loves hunting, games and archery, among other things. So it was only appropriate to take his senior photos at the public arcade in Manitou Springs. Even more so when we found a deer hunting game. That’s the photo below with the biggest smile. :)

Congratulations on this milestone in your life, Bruce! We can’t wait to see where your future takes you!

April 18, 2011 - 6:49 pm Jessica - I can NOT believe how much all 6 of those kids look alike. Bruce's smile looks just like Jay's smile. Incredible. Great job Kristi!

2010 Portrait Highlights

Here’s a look back at my favorite photos from 2010. I have a whole lot more, but that would take forever to share! If you want to see more, simply click on previous post over and over and over again. ;)

Class of 2011: Sky

During Sky’s senior shoot, I realized I’d forgotten a few things about Colorado.

1. Mosquitoes will eat you no matter how much bug spray you use.

And 2. Colorado is majestic. breathtaking. without words.

Thanks for helping me to remember, Sky! You totally commanded this shoot like a pro.

I call these two – I have a secret. And I’m not telling.

September 4, 2010 - 11:13 am Jessica - I especially like the one in fron of the car with the headlights in! Very cool!

August 27, 2010 - 12:34 pm Roxanna Payne - Awesome pictures, as always Kristi. It looks beautiful out there.

August 26, 2010 - 9:59 pm Kristi - Julie, you are so right about the road. We had 4 of the 5 cars that passed us stop and see if we were alright. It was kinda obvious we were taking photos, but I think it was sweet of them to stop anyway. This is the third thing I forgot about Colorado!

August 26, 2010 - 9:33 pm Julie P - Love these! So unique! I really like the car shot with the headlights on...very neat! And where else can you lie on the middle of the road for a senior picture and not worry about getting run over? :-) Great shoot!

Class of 2011: Michael

Michael rocked his senior session. And I mean rocked. it. See for yourself. If these photos could talk, they’d have stories to tell…
