Here’s a look back at my favorite photos from 2010. I have a whole lot more, but that would take forever to share! If you want to see more, simply click on previous post over and over and over again. ;)

love story, kofi and deb: Washington, DC
Kofi and Deb’s love story began 16 years ago. I have known them for most of those years, have seen some happiness, some sadness, but always see them together. Their photos are particularly special to me since I photographed them some 10 years ago when I was first starting out with portraits. I couldn’t have been more excited to take their photos again. This time with a little more experience under my belt. lol!
This is their love story.
We took these at the FDR Memorial. gorgeous!
November 28, 2010 - 2:53 pm - My favorite is the one of them laying on the ground surrounded by the beautiful colors of fall!
November 23, 2010 - 11:27 pm - Kristi, I don't know the word to use! "Amazing" or "phenomenal" doesn't express it. I can't tell you how pleased I am! Thank you SO much!
November 23, 2010 - 11:20 pm - Kristi, Oh, how beautiful!! They look so happy together, and the scenery is gorgeous, too. That final picture with the reflection of the Jefferson Memorial is fantastic!! Everything is just perfect about it! I love you and I'm proud of you! Love, Mom
November 23, 2010 - 8:37 pm - LOVE THEM!!!!! They turned out wonderfully!
country love: Ruth and Terry
This session was fun and fabulous! Ruth and Terry were visiting from out of state and decided they wanted photos in beautiful and unforgettable Colorado. So where else could I take them but the Garden of the Gods? It really lives up to it’s name. As you can see!
I want these belts! With my name, of course. ;)
And the cowboy hats…yum!
These were taken while we stopped to talk to some passersby. This is really how they are. So sweet!

September 20, 2010 - 7:15 am - OH my Kristi...I love this session so much. What a sweet couple, and such a lovely place to take pictures. Thanks for sharing it with us!! Beautiful job.
love and goats: Cassie & Matt
Matt and Cassie blew their engagement session out of the water! Cassie has awesome taste in clothes – great accessories and cute, sexy shoes. Apparently, she also has great taste in men. Matt is a sweetheart. When Cassie’s feet were hurting from the cute, sexy shoes (the downside to awesomeness), he gave her a piggy back ride. That is one smitten man. Then as we neared the end of our shoot, we came across goats. yes, goats. lol! Matt explained to me that they are being used to maintain the grass. Of all things! They just eat everything in sight so the city moves them periodically and voila, the grass is mowed. So there you have it, love and goats.
Cassie, you are gorgeous!
I love, love this dress. And those shoes! Killer.
2 things I like most about this photo. The shoes. And the shadow.
This guy was funny!

Thanks for the fun times, Cassie and Matt! See you in a couple weeks for your big day!!

Hello, all my Colorado friends! As a welcome home to myself, I’m running a rare special so be sure to take full advantage of it!

In Love: Katy & Kurt
What a beautiful day that we had for Katy and Kurt’s engagement session! I couldn’t have asked for better weather. Katy and Kurt as so cute together! And they brought along their pet ferret, Bella, since that is unique to them. A first for me! Bella was very hard to get to sit still. Surprisingly, the only way to keep her still was to hold her and walk. lol! We had a great time. Less than a couple of months now, Katy and Kurt! Can’t wait!
In Love: Megan & Brian
For Megan and Brian’s engagement session, they took me on a tour of the University of Richmond, from where they are recent graduates. I was amazed at the beauty of the campus! And had to take advantage of it. Megan and Brian are tying the knot in June…just a couple of months away! Can’t wait!

Guestbook Albums
Not thrilled with the idea of the boring and simple white guestbook for your wedding? Family and friends sign in like they’re checking in to a hotel, not sharing your special day with you. Well, if you want to be different, try this. I create custom Guestbook Albums unique to you from your engagement session. Your guests not only sign their name but they can offer advice or share a favorite memory. Contact me for details and pricing.
In Love: Brandy + Kendall
Brandy and Kendall are planning a spring wedding next year. I can’t wait for their wedding! It’s sure to be as adorable as they are. ;)

Celebrating Love: Lacey + Miguel
Lacey and Miguel celebrated their second wedding anniversary by modeling for the camera for some just because photos. It was especially important to them to do before Miguel starts his tour in Iraq next year. We have a great time traipsing around Maymont and even found a gorgeous all yellow tree that hadn’t shed it’s leaves yet. Good luck, Miguel! You’ll both be in my thoughts. :)
